The Costa Tropical is located along the province of Granada’s 60
kilometre of coastline. The Costa Tropical has many beautiful natural
beaches in which still are not commercialised allowing a tranquil way of
life in which the locals enjoy.
ALBONDON
Albondon descends towards the Mediterranean coast on the South-West
slopes of the Sierra Nevada rolling mountains with spectacular views.
Albondon is a thriving village with shops, banks, post office,
community swimming pool, restaurant, and bodegas (small bars) where you
can sample the local tapas and buy the local Alpujarra wine.
ALBUŅOL
Albuņol is 6km from the Mediterranean coastline, great climate with mild
winters and very warm summers. The town has supermarkets, banks, post
office, town hall, police station, 24hr medical centre, tapas bars and
excellent schools. Due to the local fruit and vegetable farming and
fishing products here are particularly good value at the local markets.
LA RABITA
La Rabita is really a coastal extension to Albuņol along the
Mediterranean coastline, this quiet typically Spanish small beach has a
couple of restaurants, a few tapas bars, medical centre, primary school
and ample shops. There is a daily indoor market for you fresh supplies
of food. Enclosed in a rocky creek this small quaint little resort has
many fiestas and extra beach bars open in the tourist months.
